Shop the GMC Sierra 2500 Heavy-Duty Truck at Team One Chevrolet Buick GMC

When you need a powerful truck to handle tough work in stride and jobs off the beaten path, the GMC Sierra 2500 is an excellent choice. With two powerful engines to choose from in Charlotte, MI, a range of amazing amenities on offer and fantastic technology at your disposal, the Sierra 2500 is sure to make you smile.

The Sierra 2500 offers two incredible powertrain options. The 6.6-liter V8 gas engine is standard, and this option provides up to 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque. For any conventional towing you have planned, you can expect to be able to handle as much as 14,500 pounds, and your payload capacity will be up to 3,760 pounds.

On the other hand, you can also choose the 6.6-liter Turbodiesel V8. With diesel power under the hood, you can look forward to as much as 445 horsepower and a whopping 910 pound-feet of torque! This raises your towing capacity to 18,500 pounds whether you're towing conventionally or with a gooseneck or fifth wheel hitch.

While both these engines use a six-speed automatic transmission standard, you can also upgrade to a 10-speed Allison® automatic. Likewise, rear-wheel drive is standard on most Sierra 2500 trucks, but four-wheel drive is available on the early trims and standard with the AT4 and Denali.

The interior of your heavy-duty truck can be whatever you want it to be. From the simplicity of the Sierra 2500 Pro to the luxury of the Denali, you're sure to find an incredible cabin for your needs. While the Pro focuses on providing only the necessities, moving up the trim levels can get you amenities like leather or perforated leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, 10-way power-adjustable front seats and more.

Additionally, you can choose between three cab styles for the Sierra 2500. The Regular Cab can fit up to three persons in a single row of seating, while both the Double and Crew Cabs can fit up to six. In fact, the Crew Cab has best-in-class leg- and headroom at 44.5 and 43 inches respectively.

Every Sierra 2500 comes with LED Daytime Running Lamps standard to ensure other drivers can know you're there, even in heavy fog, rain and other weather. Plus, you'll also have LED taillights standard, and you can pick up LED fog lamps and LED reflector headlamps on the SLT trims and up.

When you're ready to take on rough trails and rocky roads, the Sierra 2500 AT4 has all sorts of extras to make your adventures safe and easy. For instance, it has specially tuned off-road suspension and built-in skid plates to protect all the mechanical components under your truck's belly.

With any truck, the bed is a focal point, so it's no surprise that the Sierra 2500 offers plenty of space and features to make its bed superb. The floor of the standard bed is 82.2 inches long, while the floor of the long bed is 98.3 inches long. The width is 71.4 inches, or 51.85 inches at the wheel housings. This provides plenty of space to fit any equipment or resources you need for your next job.

You'll have either a 7- or 8-inch color touchscreen display in your dashboard, depending on the trim level you select. From here, you can access Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, Bluetooth® audio streaming and more. On the top-level trims, you'll also gain SiriusXM®, HD Radio™ and voice controls, and you can also add built-in navigation.
